The rounds in Cube Critters are solely multiplayer. You always compete against another player in a one-on-one duel where there can only be one winner. The first one to cross the finish line and collect the crown will emerge triumphant from the race, in which you can use loads of power ups to attack your opponent. In addition, the winner gets more coins which can be used to unlock tons of extra characters to play with.

The controls in Cube Critters are very simple: all you need to do is to swipe in the direction you want your character to move. Your aim is to plow through a setting full of traps and dead-end streets ... but also full of coins and power ups which can lead you to victory.
